    Henry was previously a senior trader and head of the China office for Cliveden Trading AG before starting PY Commodities in 2018. Henry holds a Chemistry degree from the University of Manchester, UK.

    Head of China ~ Senior Trader

    Yang was previously a senior trader for Cliveden Trading AG before starting PY Commodities in 2018. Yang holds an English degree from the University of Guangxi

  • Juan Carlos Herrera

    Chief Operating officer

    Juan Carlos Herrera is a senior executive with more than 25 years of international experience in metals and mineral commodities trading. Throughout his career with leading companies in the metals and minerals industry, he has built and transformed global operations, strengthened corporate governance, reduced costs and developed high-performing teams.

    His expertise spans commercial contracts, trade finance, global logistics, marine cargo insurance, WSMD and operational risk management.

    As Chief Operating Officer of PY Commodities, he leads international operations and supports the company’s sustainable growth across Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia, combining operational excellence with strong, long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners.

    Legal Counsel

    Andrew was senior and then managing partner at a leading UK commercial law firm before joining PY Commodities in 2018. Andrew holds a degree in Archaeology, Anthropology and Law from Cambridge University

  • Hoi Ling

    Head of Operations Asia

    Hoi Ling has over 10 years of experience in commodity trading and banking, having worked at Gunvor, Noble and ICBC Standard Bank before joining PY Commodities. Her experience covers trade finance and international trading operations.

    Gian Carlo is an economist with an MBA and over 20 years of executive and management experience. His background spans the mining, trading and industrial sectors, with extensive expertise in finance, commercial management, business structuring and operations.
